Zubin Damania MD is a social media / video god – his ZDoggMD site is terrific. He’s snarky and smart. But this time he meets his match: he sat down – live, not edited – and did a 30 minute “ask me anything” with his 12 year old daughter, whose school just got closed for the virus. She. Has. Questions. And I bet a lot are questions you’ve had.
I’ve been wondering what to say about the virus, and this is 9/10 of it! 31 minutes long – first half is them talking and teaching (with a live audience submitting questions), then they riff and answer some audience questions.
“Preparation helps anxiety,” he says at the end. Truth.

Great Information. Thank you for sharing a positive resource for children that have questions about Covid-19.

He explains and then finally gets down to the basic answer. Like talking about ebola before he answered the young lady’s question about COVID! And he takes this approach every time. I’d like a straightforward, yes/no answer, and then some explanation and background info.

:-) And I prefer context before answer, because so many people (unlike you!) stop listening when they hear the bottom line. :-)

Used it with my 4 kids to start the discussion about what’s happening right now and about what we – as a family – would be doing going forward. Thanks for sharing
